5 steps to perfect cleansing

DOTTORE perfect cleansing

Cleansing is the foundation of our face skin care. Uncleansed skin means lots of bacteria - carried on our hands, dust, pollutants from the air, exhaust fumes, sweat and sebum that clog pores. This usually results in imperfections and even irritation and inflammation.

In turn, careful, regular facial cleansing twice a day, in the morning and in the evening, has a positive impact not only on the condition of the skin, but also on the effectiveness of cosmetics. Creams are better absorbed, and thus the active ingredients work better. When we apply the cream to the cleansed face, it does not have to "get through" the layer of sebum and other impurities.

Make-up Removal

Eye make-up removal

The most common mistake we make when removing make-up from our eyes - especially when we're talking about mascara - is rubbing a cotton ball over our eyes. By doing so, we unknowingly worsen the condition of the skin in this area. The skin around the eyes is the thinnest and most sensitive. It shows signs of aging much faster than the rest of the face. It also goes against the idea of how micellar lotions work.

The correct way to remove eye makeup: Place a cotton pad over the eye, press gently and wait for several tens of seconds. Micellar fluid dissolves color cosmetics. There is no need for strong rubbing.

Make-up Removal

Foundation residue means that we have not cleaned our skin thoroughly. If the foundation has been preserved, you can be sure that all the "unpleasantness" already mentioned above has been preserved too. Because of this, our skin does not rest at night. No one likes to go to bed dirty. Regularly leaving makeup residue on our face will make our skin start to look tired and gray. To mask this, you will start applying more and more foundation. A vicious circle. And the solution is simple - cleanse your face thoroughly!

Depending on your preferences, choose a makeup remover - a milk or a micellar liquid. Don't go by fragrance! The more natural the product you choose, the more your skin will thank you.

Face Gel

One of the more underrated elements of cleansing. Why? Many people admit that they use regular soap to wash their face, the same soap they use in the shower. The situation can be compared to feeding a dog cat food. Dog will be fed - yes, but it does not meet its needs. In the same way, ordinary soap does not meet the needs of the skin on the face - a skin that is much more delicate than on the rest of our body.

Regular soap is too strong. The hydrolipid barrier of our facial skin may not be able to keep up with rebuilding itself when we use it for cleansing. Depriving the skin of its hydrolipid barrier is the first step to ruining its appearance. It will become tired, hyper-reactive and very sensitive to all the factors that the hydrolipid barrier should protect it from.

Toning

A toner is a cosmetic that is designed to restore the skin's pH, but in addition has a moisturizing effect and noticeably refreshes the skin. It is usually very pleasant to use and the skin seems to be more radiant. This is due to the soothing effect of the tonic. We recommend using a toner to everyone, especially people with sensitive and prone to irritation skin. We would like to stress, however, that you should not rub your skin with a cotton pad too hard in order not to achieve the opposite effect. It is enough to gently move a cotton pad soaked in the product over the surface of the skin.

It is worth mentioning that toning the skin improves the absorption of active ingredients contained in creams and masks, so it should be used both morning and evening.

Enzymatic peeling

Enzyme peels are just as important a part of facial cleansing as the previous points. The difference is that they should not be used as often. To keep your skin in good condition, it is enough to use them 1-2 times a week.

Enzymatic peels are designed to dissolve dead skin cells. We are not able to get rid of them with makeup remover or face gel because that is not what they are made for.

Cleansing in the beauty salon

To keep your skin in excellent condition, we recommend visiting a trusted beauty salon once a month. A professional will not only cleanse your skin more thoroughly, but will also help you figure out what type of skin you have, advise you on proper home care, and suggest a treatment tailored to your needs. An important advantage of regular meetings with a cosmetologist cannot be overlooked here - an experienced person will notice changes that may be symptoms of diseases and require consultation with a doctor and specialized treatment. This is especially important when the symptoms initially seem harmless. An example of such a situation is rosacea - it initially manifests itself through a slight erythema, which, although it disappears slowly, is not a blemish on the beauty. However, bad care of vascular skin can lead to a serious stage of acne rosacea, the treatment of which already requires consultation with a surgeon.

Finally, something positive - part of the cleansing in the beauty salon is a facial massage, which everyone seems to like.
